This company did an amazing job! They came when they said they would, they put in long hard 10 hour days. Our siding was so bad... They put James Hardie siding in the front and T 111 in the back, and it is beautiful. Every seam is sealed, all the windows sealed, waterproof barriers installed, flashings where they belong, Not one splinter left on the property, they came the made my house beautiful and left. Great price, hard workers, prompt and courteous!! Recommend them highly!!!!!

Alco Exteriors installed vinyl siding on our vacation home at Tahoe. They did a fine job and finished on time - in fact a bit ahead of schedule. The house is on a rather steep downhill, which made the work more difficult than usual, and they had to install scaffolding first. Mike W. and the work crew were cooperative and helpful.

The Quote process: Michael came out a day or two after I reached out for a quote. I a lot of research and had a ton of questions. He was patient and answered all of them. He was the fourth contractor we had bid this job. We were looking to replace our cedar shingle siding with James Hardie lap siding. He produced the quote on site and that evening I reached out to ask about also replacing our windows. He came over again the next day to talk about it and measure. Came out a third time the next day with his partner and window specialist to measure and check for egress issues in the bedrooms. He was patient and thorough and prepared two separate quotes. One for siding and one for windows. We decided over that weekend to book him. 2. Ordering the custom windows took 6 weeks. So that how long it took to start the job. Siding only wouldve been about a month wait. This gave us time to prep all the parts of the house that would need to be painted to match the new siding. We did this part of the job ourselves and saved several thousand. Mike was upfront that his guys arent painters. Theyd do it, but what they really do is siding. 3. The install: Crew did the whole home demo in 4 hours. They were quick, clean, efficient, magical. The window install took two very long days but everything was done perfectly. The house needed insulation, so they threw that up in a day, and then did the OSB, Hardie Wrap. Once the siding started going up was when I could tell that the Foreman, Luis, was an artist and a perfectionist. He was as determined to get get it right like I was, and I couldnt have asked for a better person to lead the team. They had never done a white siding/white trim job before and it was challenging. They problem solved the whole time and even did some special projects for me as they went. All told, the entire job was done in 8 full days. The place was cleaned up and ready for inspection at the end of the last day. We COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED.

Mike and his crew were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. When Mike first came out to give us a quote, he made sure to spend the extra time to explain all of our options and never once tried to upsell us into a product that wasn t practical for our needs/budget. We ended up choosing Mikes company to install Hardie Lap siding on our mid 70s home. We had the original redwood T1-11 siding, which due to the condition, we were able to go right over the top of it. I had other contractors tell me they had to tear it off and replace it with OSB. I knew this wasn t necessary, but the average home owner may not know that. Mike was upfront and gave us both options, but recommended going over the existing siding to save on costs, as it was in good condition in most places. Due to dry-rought concerns at the bottom of the siding, Mike made sure to cut the bottom 2-3 off all of the existing siding to verify we weren t covering any issues. (Turns out dry-rought was extremely minimal). Since we were installing new siding, we decided to go with new windows as well. Mikes window crew worked hand in hand with the siding crew. The whole project was complete in one week. (Single story 1,350 sqft home, 11 windows) Being in construction, I am a bit more nit picky than most customers, so I pointed out a punch list I had for Mike. He showed up the next morning and addressed every one of my concerns without a question. I was very impressed with the no questions asked get it done attitude. Again, these were not things he did wrong, just minor requests I had after seeing the finished product. I would absolutely recommend Mike and his crew for your siding needs. His attention to details was spot on. Mike won t consider the job complete until you are satisfied with his work.

When I was finally able to set the project in motion it was in the middle of summer. They were busy and it was hot! They did have some guys that were interested in working on the weekends so they were able to squeeze us in. We had LP lap siding installed on the front of our house and LP T1-11 replaced on the hot sunny side where our old wood T1-11 had continued to buckle and bow even after several attempts to repair over the years. Mike was great and his guys were great. They listened to our concerns and had suggestions and solutions. There was a small communication concern due to being squeezed in over the weekend, they didn't show up one Sunday and it was because it is the option to the guys who are willing to work on the weekend which we didn't know. So they explained it later and even provided their personal contact number for any other concerns. The project took about 2 and 1/2 weekends. Their work and work ethic is great and we would use them again no problem. As a side note, Mike is very honest, I accidentally overpaid on my check and he refunded the overpayment bringing the check to my house directly. The job looks amazing and I can't wait for it to get painted so he can come back and see how different and amazing it looks.
